Cologne For Men
Not too long ago I was talking to my 9-year-old nephew and he told me that he wanted some cologne for men for a Christmas gift. I couldn’t help but laugh. He didn’t want just any cologne, he specifically asked for cologne for men. I couldn’t help but tease him, and told him that I’d found some cologne for 9-year-old little boys that maybe I could get him. He actually sounded frustrated when he responded, and again said that it had to be cologne for men. I told him that I’d see what I could do and left it at that.
Two days later, I was talking to my brother and told him the story about his son’s very specific Christmas gift request. He started laughing and I had no idea why. He said that about six months before my nephew wanted to put on some of his cologne, and he had told him that he could have some when he got older, that it was cologne for men. My nephew said ok, and let it go at that. Since that time, he’s had a birthday and I guess he figures he’s now gone from a boy to a man and is old enough for cologne for men. My brother and I giggled for about ten minutes. We decided that it definitely warranted his own bottle of cologne, so I imagine I’ll be real popular come Christmas morning, since I’m giving him his very own bottle of cologne for men.
